Job Title: PLC Programmer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer to design, develop, and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) programs for our Special Purpose Machines (SPMs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, experience with industrial automation, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

1. PLC Programming: Design, develop, and test PLC programs for SPMs using languages like Ladder Logic, Function Block, or Structured Text, Develope software programs based on customer requirements, Verify proper functionality of software programs and troubleshoot any issues.

- Machine Control: Write efficient code to control machine operations, including input/output management, data processing, and alarm handling, Develop, test, and debug software programs for machine control and automation.
- Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve PLC programming issues, either on-site or remotely.

4.Customer Handling: Conduct customer visits for project discussions based on their requirements. Inform customers about the availability, lead time, and specifications of standard items.

- Collaboration: Work with mechanical engineers, electricians, and other stakeholders to integrate PLC programs with machine hardware and electrical systems,

5. Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation of PLC programs, including comments, diagrams, and user manuals.

- Testing and Commissioning: Assist in testing and commissioning SPMs to ensure proper machine function and performance,



Conduct self-audit to ensure all electrical items are installed correctly in panels and machines, that meets customer requirements.
- Maintenance and Support: Provide technical support and training to machine operators and maintenance personnel, Prepare Machine Manuals for the Machine, Should take responsibility and ownership of all the projects that are assigned to you and complete in the given timeline strictly.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with new PLC technologies, programming techniques, and industry developments to improve SPM performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
2. Experience: 3-6 years of experience in PLC programming for industrial automation, preferably in SPMs.
3. PLC Programming Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g.Omron,Mitsubishi ,Siemens) and experience with PLC hardware and software.
4. Analytical Skills: Solid problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex machine control systems.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and documentation skills.
6. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have:
1. Certifications: Certification in PLC programming or a related field.
2. Industry Experience: Experience with specific SPM applications (e.g., robotics, material handling, packaging).
3. Other Programming Languages: Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., C++, Python).
