Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PLC Programmer role based in Bengaluru. The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and test PLC programs for industrial automation systems, ensuring efficient and protected operation of machinery and processes.

Responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical and control schematics, configuring hardware, integrating PLCs with HMIs and other control devices, and troubleshooting system issues during commissioning and maintenance. The role involves collaborating with design, electrical, and mechanical teams to implement automation solutions, preparing technical documentation, and supporting continuous improvements in existing systems. The PLC Programmer will also assist in on-site installation, testing, and customer support as needed.

Qualifications





- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and configuration (e.g., ladder logic, function block, structured text) and experience with major PLC platforms.
- Skills in industrial automation, control systems design, and integration of PLCs with sensors, actuators, HMIs, and other field devices.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, P&IDs;, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root cause analysis for automation systems and control circuits.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) and networking basics.
- Experience with commissioning, testing, and validation of automation projects in an industrial environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Attention to safety standards, quality practices, and willingness to work on-site at industrial locations.
- Prior experience in control panel design, SCADA or HMI development, and industrial automation projects is an advantage.
