Junior Physiotherapist

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated, responsible, and patient-focused Junior Physiotherapist to join our clinical team. The candidate will work under the guidance of senior physiotherapists and contribute to assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, patient education, documentation, and overall clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct basic physiotherapy assessments under senior supervision.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Provide treatment for orthopaedic, neurological, sports injury, post-operative, geriatric, and other rehabilitation patients as per clinical requirements.
- Perform therapeutic exercises, strengthening, stretching, mobility, balance, posture, and functional training.
- Assist with manual therapy and electrotherapy modalities as per the treatment plan.
- Monitor patient progress and modify exercises/treatment as instructed by the senior physiotherapist.
- Educate patients regarding home exercises, posture, ergonomics, precautions, and lifestyle modifications.
- Ensure patients perform exercises safely and with correct technique.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, treatment notes, progress reports, and follow-up documentation.
- Conduct regular patient follow-ups and encourage treatment and exercise compliance.
- Communicate professionally with patients, attendants, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of the treatment and exercise areas.
- Ensure physiotherapy equipment and treatment areas are used safely and responsibly.
- Assist in clinic camps, assessments, awareness programs, and patient education activities when required.
- Support senior physiotherapists in day-to-day clinical and administrative activities.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow professional and ethical standards.
- Represent the clinic professionally and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Home Physiotherapy Visits
- The candidate should be willing and comfortable to undertake home physiotherapy visits when required.
- Home visits may include assessment, treatment,



therapeutic exercise, rehabilitation, mobility training, and patient/caregiver education.
- The physiotherapist is expected to maintain the same level of professionalism, clinical standards, documentation, and patient care during home visits as in the clinic.
- Home visits may be scheduled based on patient requirements and clinic availability.
- Home visits will be compensated separately from the regular salary through a percentage-based incentive/revenue-sharing structure.
- The applicable percentage for each home visit will be discussed and mutually agreed upon at the time of joining.
- Home-visit incentives will be calculated based on completed/eligible visits as per the clinic's applicable policy.

- Ability to understand and implement appropriate rehabilitation protocols.
- Participation in internal training, case discussions, and learning activities.

6. Home Visit Performance

- Willingness and availability for assigned home visits.

- Patient satisfaction and adherence during home rehabilitation.
- Contribution to home-visit revenue through quality patient care and follow-up.

7. Clinic Operations

- Proper handling and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Supporting clinic camps, assessments, awareness programs, and other clinic initiatives.

Employment Terms
- Position: Junior Physiotherapist
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Contract Duration: 1 year
- Reporting To: Senior Physiotherapist / Clinical Head
- Performance Review: Regular performance reviews based on clinical performance, patient care, KPIs, professionalism, attendance, teamwork, and overall contribution to the clinic.
- Contract Renewal: Renewal after completion of the one-year contract will be subject to performance, conduct, and organizational requirements.
- Home Visit Incentive: Additional percentage-based incentive/revenue sharing for eligible home physiotherapy visits, separate from the fixed salary.

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration as applicable.
- Freshers and candidates with relevant clinical experience may apply.
- Strong interest in clinical physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and work under clinical supervision.
- Willingness to undertake home physiotherapy visits when assigned.
- Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and patient-oriented.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team.
