We are looking for a skilled and patient-friendly Phlebotomist to join Dhanvantri Clinical Laboratory. The role involves visiting patients at their homes for blood and other sample collection, performing ECG when required, completing MER forms, and ensuring the secure and timely transportation of samples to the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit patients' homes according to the assigned schedule.
- Collect blood samples using Vacutainer and perform other required sample collection procedures accurately and safely.
- Perform ECG procedures when required.
- Explain test procedures and fasting requirements to patients when applicable.
- Complete and verify MER forms accurately.
- Update the collection status in the mobile app/system.
- Maintain daily collection reports and attendance records.
- Coordinate with the laboratory and reporting teams for smooth operations.
- Follow all hygiene,
infection-control, and patient-safety protocols.
Eligibility Criteria
- DMLT / MLT certification is mandatory or Minimum 6 month experience
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM candidates may also be considered.
- Experience in blood collection is mandatory.
- Previous home sample collection experience is preferred.
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license is preferred.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills preferred.
Key Skills
- Basic knowledge of ECG procedures.
- Good understanding of hygiene and infection-control practices.
- Basic knowledge of mobile applications and data entry.
- Good time management and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple home visits.
