Gurugram

? Gurgaon | ? Full-Time | ? Experience: 2–6 Years | Reports to: Founder

Mastry (formerly Design Sundays) is India's most selective UI/UX design community. We don't just run UI/UX Design - we help learners with career transformation.

Our live cohort programs - Product Design Launchpad, AI-Powered UI/UX Designer, and more - are 5 – 18 week intensive, mentor-led experiences designed to help working professionals and students shift careers, build world-class portfolios, and land roles that actually excite them. Our programs run between ₹35,000 - ₹85,000+.

Not everyone who applies gets in. That's intentional. And that's where you come in.

We don't just accept learners. We earn their trust first. That's the standard we hold ourselves to - and the standard we're hiring for.

The Role

You will own the top of Mastry's funnel. Every lead that reaches our Admission Counsellor team starts with you - the campaigns you build, the audiences you target, and the offers you test.

You'll run Meta and Google Ads across two fronts: direct lead ads for our flagship programs (Product Design Launchpad and others), and lead/sales ads for Masterclasses, Challenges, and Webinars that either bring in fresh top-of-funnel audience or nurture people who aren't ready to buy yet.

This is a solo performance marketing seat, reporting directly to the Founder. You won't be managing a team, but you'll be central to how Mastry grows - your targeting, creative decisions, and budget calls directly shape how many people get a shot at the career shift Mastry offers.

What You'll Own

- Campaign Strategy & Execution

- Own and scale performance marketing strategy across paid channels (Google, Meta) to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and overall marketing ROI.
- Execute performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Performance Max) and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) across two funnels: direct lead generation for paid programs, and lead/sales campaigns for Masterclasses, Challenges, and Webinars.
- Manage and optimize digital marketing budgets (₹5–7 lakhs monthly, scaling to ₹10 lakhs within 6 months) to maximize ROAS and reduce CAC.
- Build audience targeting, retargeting, and remarketing strategies, continuously testing placements and offers to find what produces qualified leads - not just cheap ones.

- Ad Copy & Creative Direction

- Write ad copy yourself - headlines, primary text, CTAs - across both direct-response and nurture campaigns

- Brief and collaborate with developers/creative support for visual assets, video edits, and landing page elements; you direct the creative, you don't need to produce it from scratch
- Contribute to landing page and funnel design decisions, working alongside the team to make sure the journey from ad click to form-fill is frictionless

- Performance Tracking & Reporting

- Maintain a live tracking sheet covering spend, leads, CPL, cost per qualified lead, and cost per enrollment across every campaign, ensuring accurate implementation of tracking, attribution, pixels, conversion APIs, and analytics tools.
- Run a weekly review with the Founder covering what's working, what's not, and where budget should shift
- Track funnel volume, lead quality, and conversion rate at every stage - not just top-of-funnel numbers

- Feedback Loop with Sales/Admissions

- Every 3–4 days, sync with the Admission Counsellor team on lead quality - are the right people showing up, are they qualified, where are they dropping off
- Use that feedback to adjust targeting, messaging, and creative in near real-time - you're optimizing for enrollments, not just form-fills
- You are the reason the top of the funnel stays clean; a bad lead that wastes a Counsellor's time is a cost you're accountable for

- Cross-Functional Marketing Execution

- Work closely with sales, content, and Founder to align performance marketing initiatives with overall business goals and execute Mastry's broader calendar.
- Bring ideas to the table on current campaign formats, offers, and channels within Meta and Google - you're not just executing a brief, you're shaping the media plan

Your Weekly Rhythm

- Daily: Monitor campaign performance, adjust bids/budgets, respond to underperforming ad sets, update the tracking sheet
- Every 3–4 days: Feedback sync with Admissions/Sales on lead quality and conversion trends
- Weekly: Performance review with the Founder - spend, CPL, cost per qualified lead, cost per enrollment, and what's changing next week

Targets You'll Be Measured On

- Lead volume:

1,500–2,000 direct leads per month from paid campaigns (indirect efforts like workshops, masterclasses, and challenges will naturally produce fewer, higher-intent leads - that's expected and fine)

- Cost efficiency: Cost per lead, cost per qualified lead, and cost per enrollment, tracked and improved over time

- Funnel health: Lead quality and stage-wise conversion rate, not just raw lead count

- ROI: Overall spend efficiency against enrollments generated

Who You Are

Must-Haves:

- 2–4 years of experience independently running paid ad campaigns - you've owned budgets, not just assisted on them
- Hands-on proficiency with Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and Meta Conversions API (CAPI)
- Experience advertising for ed-tech, online education, or high-ticket coaching/services - you understand what it takes to sell a considered, high-value decision through ads
- Able to walk us through your past performance with real numbers - budgets managed, CPL achieved, campaigns run, what worked and what didn't

You Think Like This:

- You obsess over cost per qualified lead, not just cost per lead - vanity metrics don't excite you
- You write ad copy that sells outcomes, not just captures clicks
- You treat the Sales/Admissions feedback loop as core to your job, not a distraction from it
- You're comfortable owning a budget and being accountable for what it returns
- You want to build a media engine, not just run someone else's campaigns
- You have a startup mindset: ownership, experimentation, and fast execution
- You are comfortable using AI tools to improve marketing speed, quality, and efficiency

Why Mastry

- Work directly with the Founder - your campaigns and decisions shape how Mastry grows
- Full ownership of the acquisition funnel for a mission-driven design education company
- Clear budget growth path (₹5–7L to ₹10L within 6 months) tied to your own performance
- Be part of a small, high-trust team where your work has visible, immediate impact - not lost in a large marketing org

About Mastry (formerly Design Sundays)

- Mastry is a design community bringing the best of the industry to share experience, impart knowledge, and inspire curiosity among learners. We envision a world where problem-solving with design skills isn't limited to design and art schools that put students in thousands of dollars of debt. We're building an ecosystem for accessible design education - and for every paid event, a share of the proceeds goes to NGOs and entities that improve lives.
