Role Description The Orthodontist will provide comprehensive orthodontic care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of malocclusions and related dental conditions for patients within partner clinics using Dentomatrix. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical examinations, interpreting diagnostic records, developing individualized treatment plans, and performing orthodontic procedures such as braces and aligner therapy. The role also involves educating patients on dental care, monitoring treatment progress, collaborating with other dental and medical professionals, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation in alignment with digital automation workflows.

This is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai,



working closely with the healthcare automation team to ensure a high-quality patient experience and efficient clinical operations.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Medicine and Dentistry, with the ability to integrate general health considerations into dental treatment planning.
- Specialized expertise in Orthodontics, including diagnosis and management of malocclusions and experience with braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances.
- Demonstrated skills in Treatment planning and execution, including case evaluation, risk assessment, and ongoing treatment monitoring.
- Commitment to high-quality Dental Care, including preventive care, patient education, and long-term oral health management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) and a postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics (MDS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Valid dental/orthodontic license or registration as required by relevant authorities.
- Experience working in clinical settings, preferably in dental or orthodontic practices using digital health or practice management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail, ethical clinical practice, and the ability to work collaboratively in a technology-enabled setting.
