Nursing officer is responsible for providing safe, competent and patient-centred nursing care as per NABH 6th Edition, hospital policies and approved scope of practice.

Responsibilities include patient assessment and monitoring, nursing care planning, safe medication administration, implementation of medical orders, infection control, patient identification, pain and risk assessment, emergency response, patient and family education, maintaining privacy and confidentiality, accurate nursing documentation, safe handover and transfer, discharge instructions, incident reporting, participation in quality and patient-safety activities, proper use of equipment, and timely escalation of any deterioration or safety concern to the concerned doctor and nursing supervisor





GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution with valid State Nursing Council registration, preferably with 13 years of clinical hospital experience. The candidate should have sound knowledge of patient assessment, medication administration, infection prevention, documentation, emergency care and patient safety practices. BLS certification, familiarity with NABH standards, good communication skills, skilled behaviour, teamwork, computer/HMIS knowledge and willingness to work in rotational shifts are preferred.
