Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a News Anchor cum Reporter, based in Noida.

The News

Anchor cum Reporter will research, gather, and verify news stories, conduct interviews, and develop clear, accurate scripts for broadcast. The role involves presenting news bulletins on camera, delivering live reports from the field, and coordinating with producers, editors, and camera teams to ensure timely and engaging coverage. The individual will adapt content for multiple platforms, maintain journalistic standards, and stay updated on current events and trends relevant to the audience. The position requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and breaking news situations.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills, with the ability to research, verify facts, and produce clear, engaging stories.
- Candidates should possess Broadcasting and Presenter skills, including confident on-camera presence, clear articulation, and the ability to handle live segments.
- Candidates should possess Broadcast Journalism expertise, with knowledge of newsroom workflows, editorial judgment, and ethical journalism standards.
- Candidates should demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure.
- Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and collaborating with production and editorial teams.
- A degree or formal training in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience as a news anchor, reporter, or journalist in television or digital news media will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in using newsroom technologies, teleprompters, and basic video or audio tools is beneficial.
