Department : New Product Launch Management The Role:

•Lead and drive New Product Launches for India market, to ensure on time launches. The role involves efficient program management skills in collaboration & co-ordination with various stakeholders for on-time new products launches. Drive complete product development process from nomination to commercialization for India formulation business.

Key :

•Plan and execute structured Current Product Launch Plans (including Gantt schedules) to achieve agreed timelines in alignment with cross-functional teams.

•Maintain the NPI launch dashboard and communicate key decisions, progress, issues, risks and mitigation actions to senior management in a timely manner.

•Set clear launch planning requirements with the cross-functional team and coordinate effort estimates, activities and ownership.

•Challenge CFTs on optimised launch timelines. Prioritise projects as per organizational need.

•Lead periodic Cross-Functional Team meetings and Business Unit reviews to align priorities, assign actions, resolve bottlenecks and build stakeholder consensus.

•Collaborate with cross functional teams such as R&D;, Analytical, Quality, manufacturing, CMC and Regulatory Affairs to ensure consistent technical intent across development artifacts

•Coordinate with CFT on set NPI launch management process steps like product development, material availability and sourcing, regulatory permissions, artwork approval, manufacturing readiness and launch-batch scheduling.

•Facilitate costing and margin analysis to finalize pricing decisions before commercial manufacturing.

•Ensure launch teams understand and follow relevant methodologies, processes and standards.





•Present projects for internal approvals and provide clear, regular progress updates in line with the agreed governance cadence.

•Monitor market trends, patent landscapes and competitor regulatory and developmental activity using market-intelligence and databases, while digitizing processes to improve outcomes.

•Apply strong Excel, PowerPoint and English communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels and navigate cultural differences effectively.

•Bring a technical understanding of pharmaceutical product development and regulatory pathways across India and developed and emerging markets.

•Provide inputs to BU for New launch planning for budget purpose. Monitor budgeted launches and commercial success.

Eligibility Criteria:

•Educational Qualification: B.Pharma + M.Pharm / MBA and/or preferably PMP with Pharma Project Management Experience

•Experience: 4-6 years of experience as New Product Launch Manager with a reputed pharmaceutical organization

•

Skills:

•Expertise in managing Launch projects for India market

•The position requires knowledge of basic product development, regulatory requirements, launch requirement in India and understanding of technical side and project complexities.

•Excellent interpersonal & communication skills to effectively interact with a broad range of stakeholders

•Collaboration and teaming with ability to work in a matrix environment

•Anticipate threat in advance and mitigate it timely to reduce risk
