Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Network Security Engineer role based in Hyderabad.

The Network Security

Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures across client environments, ensuring availability, integrity, and confidentiality of network services. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring network security events, managing firewalls and other security appliances, performing vulnerability assessments, and responding to incidents. The role involves collaborating with IT and operations teams to implement security best practices, support network administration and engineering tasks,



and assist with secure cloud and systems integration projects.

The Network Security

Engineer will also document configurations, create security procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of network and information security standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Network Security and Cybersecurity for protecting enterprise network environments.
- Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Engineering for configuring, monitoring, and optimizing network devices and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Information Security principles, standards, and controls for safeguarding data and systems.
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, secure routing and switching, and network access control tools.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and best practices.
- Ability to analyze logs, perform incident response, and conduct root-cause investigations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP (Security preferred), CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar are advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Clear and effective communication skills for documenting security measures and liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
