Role Description The Network Design Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, focused on supporting the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of Delhivery’s logistics network. In this position, the associate helps analyze shipment flows, capacity utilization, service levels, and cost structures to recommend routing changes, hub locations, and process enhancements. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with data sets, preparing dashboards and reports, collaborating with operations and product teams, and contributing to simulation or scenario analysis for new routes and services.
The role also involves documenting network design standards, supporting implementation of network changes, and monitoring performance against key metrics such as transit time, cost per shipment, and reliability.
The Network Design
Associate is expected to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align network planning with business growth and customer experience goals.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with data analysis, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI dashboards); familiarity with optimization or simulation tools is an advantage.
- Foundational knowledge of logistics, transportation networks, or supply chain management, ideally within parcel or freight operations.
- Ability to document processes, prepare clear reports, and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Solid problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and comfort working with large, complex data sets under time constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field; relevant internships or experience in logistics or network planning are a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site in Gurugram and engage closely with operations for ground-level understanding of the network.
