Role Description The Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable network infrastructure for clients and internal systems in this full-time, on-site role based in Patna. Daily responsibilities include configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks, as well as monitoring network performance and troubleshooting connectivity issues. The role involves performing routine maintenance, updates, and backups, ensuring high availability, and supporting network security policies and practices.

The Network

Engineer will collaborate closely with other technical team members to plan upgrades, document network topology and procedures, and provide user support for network-related incidents.



The individual will also assist in evaluating new networking technologies and solutions to improve performance and scalability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core networking skills, including experience with TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
- Candidates should possess skills in configuring and managing network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Candidates should possess skills in network monitoring and troubleshooting using tools and methodologies for performance analysis and incident resolution.
- Candidates should possess skills related to network security, including firewalls, access controls, intrusion prevention, and best practices for securing infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess skills in documentation and planning, including creating network diagrams, maintaining configuration records, and preparing upgrade plans.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent are beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a cooperative team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
