Position: Network Engineer – L2/L3

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer (L2/L3) to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for network deployment, configuration, monitoring, incident resolution, and ensuring high availability and performance of network services.

Key Responsibilities

- Deploy, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure .
- Handle L2/L3 network troubleshooting and resolve network incidents.
- Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure .
- Work on VLANs, STP, routing, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPNs .
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP .
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Participate in network deployment and implementation projects .
- Perform network changes, upgrades, and maintenance as per defined procedures.
- Analyze network-related incidents and provide RCA (Root Cause Analysis) .
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers,



and internal IT teams for issue resolution.
- Maintain network documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.
- Follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management .

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI Model, LAN/WAN .
- Hands-on experience with Cisco/Aruba/HPE or equivalent networking equipment .
- Good understanding of VLAN, STP, trunking, EtherChannel .
- Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, static routing, and inter-VLAN routing .
- Experience with VPN, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and network security fundamentals .
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity, routing, switching, and performance issues.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge preferred.
- Experience working in an enterprise/corporate network environment .
- Exposure to firewall technologies such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco ASA/FTD is an advantage.
