Medinex Workforce is hiring Medical Coding Interns for a full-time remote internship chance. This role is suitable for candidates who want practical exposure to medical coding, healthcare documentation, medical records review, diagnosis and procedure coding, billing support, and healthcare process workflows.

Responsibilities

Assist in reviewing medical records, reports, and healthcare documentation.

Support basic coding tasks related to diagnoses, procedures, and services under guidance.

Learn and apply medical coding standards such as ICD and CPT basics.

Help verify patient information, documentation completeness, and coding accuracy.

Assist in identifying missing or unclear information in medical records.

Support billing and claims-related documentation tasks when required.

Maintain accuracy and confidentiality while handling healthcare information.

Coordinate with the team to understand coding guidelines and documentation requirements.

Prepare simple task updates, coding notes, and process documentation.

Follow healthcare data privacy, quality, and compliance practices.

Participate in training sessions and apply feedback to improve coding accuracy.

Complete assigned medical coding tasks within agreed timelines.

Who Can Apply

Candidates with interest in medical coding, healthcare documentation, or healthcare operations.

Students, fresh graduates,



or entry-level candidates from life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, healthcare, or related backgrounds.

Candidates with basic understanding of medical terminology are preferred.

Candidates willing to learn ICD, CPT, billing, and claims-related processes.

Candidates with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Candidates comfortable working with records, codes, and documentation.

Candidates who can work independently in a remote environment and communicate clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology, Botany, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, or medical terminology is preferred.

Familiarity with ICD or CPT coding is an advantage.

Understanding of healthcare documentation or medical billing basics is helpful.

Certification or training in medical coding is an added advantage.

Academic, personal, or internship-level healthcare documentation exposure is welcome.

Employment Type: Full-time Internship

Workplace: Remote

Location: India

Duration: 1 to 3 Months

Stipend: ₹15,300 per month
