Virginia-Georgia Transformer is looking for passionate and technically strong Mechanical Design Engineers to join our engineering team and work on high-impact Power Transformer Design projects.

Mechanical Design Engineer – Level 1 / Level 2 / Level 3 I Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - L1 / L2

Locations: Vadodara | Hyderabad | Delhi I Bangalore

Experience: 4 + years

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM

Employment Type: Full-time

What You’ll Do

- Design and develop mechanical components for Power Transformers.
- Apply principles of mechanics, strength of materials, thermal and vibration analysis.
- Prepare accurate 2D/3D engineering drawings using CAD tools.
- Develop and maintain detailed BOMs.
- Design and review transformer structures, fabrication drawings and mechanical assemblies.
- Validate designs against customer specifications, engineering standards and manufacturing requirements.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and other cross-functional teams.
- Deliver design activities within project timelines and quality requirements.




- Support continuous improvement and contribute to standardization of transformer designs.

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years of relevant mechanical design experience.
- Experience in Power Transformer / Transformer Mechanical Design is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CAD tools, mechanical calculations, fabrication drawings and BOM preparation.
- Understanding of thermal analysis, vibration analysis, material properties and structural design.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
