URGENT HIRING – ICU INTENSIVIST

POSITION

Consultant Intensivist – ICU / Critical Care

QUALIFICATION

- MD Anaesthesiology
- DNB Anaesthesiology
- DA (Diploma in Anaesthesia)
- Valid NMC / Chhattisgarh Medical Council Registration

EXPERIENCE

- Experienced candidates preferred
- Candidates with hands-on ICU and Critical Care experience will be given preference

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Independently manage critically ill patients in the ICU
- Assess, stabilize and treat medical and surgical emergencies
- Manage mechanically ventilated patients and provide appropriate ventilator support
- Manage sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, ARDS and multi-organ dysfunction
- Monitor hemodynamic status and adjust treatment accordingly
- Perform ICU procedures such as endotracheal intubation, central venous access, arterial line placement and emergency airway management as per expertise
- Conduct regular ICU rounds and monitor patient progress
- Respond to ICU emergencies and participate in resuscitation/code blue activities
- Coordinate with physicians, surgeons, anaesthesiologists and other specialists




- Guide ICU nursing staff regarding patient management and critical care protocols
- Maintain accurate ICU records, progress notes and discharge summaries
- Ensure compliance with infection-control, patient-safety and hospital clinical protocols

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Strong expertise in ICU and Critical Care Management
- Positive ventilator and airway management skills
- Strong emergency response and clinical decision-making abilities
- Good knowledge of sepsis and multi-organ failure management
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary coordination
- Professional, ethical and patient-centric approach
