Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily materials planning and scheduling activities.
- Ensure availability of materials to meet project timelines.
- Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock to balance cost and service levels.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to expedite or adjust purchase orders.
- Track material shortages and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain material planning systems, reports, and KPIs.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain and inventory management.
- Train and guide junior planners or coordinators as needed.
