Role Description The Marketing and Business Development Coordinator is a full time remote role responsible for supporting the growth of Obelisk Training’s courses and services. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, identifying prospective clients and partners, and coordinating marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. The role involves preparing proposals and presentations, maintaining accurate records of opportunities in CRM or tracking systems, and assisting in the development of promotional materials and content.

The Coordinator will respond to inquiries,



provide professional customer service to learners and corporate clients, and collaborate with internal teams to align marketing and business development activities with organisational goals.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to assess demand, trends, and competitor activity.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients, learners, and stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Proficiency in Proposal Writing, including drafting clear, persuasive proposals and presentations for prospective partners.
- Experience with marketing coordination, campaign support, and basic digital marketing tools (e.g., email platforms, social media, CRM systems).
- Organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with vocational education and training (VET) or RTO operations in Australia is an advantage.
- Relevant qualification in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
