nnAbout the Role

nnWe are looking for an experienced and responsible Plant Manager to oversee the complete operations of our corrugated box manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production, quality, manpower, maintenance, inventory, safety, and timely dispatch, while ensuring efficient and cost-effective plant operations.

nnKey Responsibilities

nn Manage and supervise day-to-day plant operations.

nPlan and monitor production as per customer orders and delivery schedules.

n* Ensure smooth operation of corrugation, printing, cutting, slotting,



stitching/gluing and related machinery.

n Monitor production targets, machine efficiency, wastage and overall productivity.

nManage and allocate manpower across different production departments.

n Ensure proper quality control of raw materials and finished corrugated boxes.

nCoordinate with Purchase, Sales, Stores, Dispatch and Accounts teams.

n Monitor inventory of paper, adhesive, ink, stitching material and other consumables.

nControl production wastage and identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs.

n Ensure regular machine maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns.

nMaintain production records, daily reports and other plant-related documentation.

n Ensure compliance with safety procedures and workplace discipline.

nTrain, guide and motivate production staff and workers.

n Handle production-related issues and take quick corrective actions.

nEnsure finished goods are packed and dispatched on time.

n Implement systems to improve productivity, quality and operational efficiency.

nnRequired Skills & Qualifications

nn Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.

n5–10 years of relevant experience in corrugated box, paper packaging or manufacturing plant operations.

nStrong knowledge of corrugated box manufacturing processes and machinery.

n Good leadership and manpower management skills.

nAbility to handle production pressure and meet deadlines.
