- Job Title: Linux System Administrator or Server Administrator
- Experience: 1-2 years
- Location: Lucknow, Gomti nagar (Onsite)
- Budget: 3 lpa max

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Linux System Administrator to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Linux servers, ensuring maximum uptime, monitoring infrastructure, performing routine maintenance, managing backups, troubleshooting server-related issues, and maintaining the security and performance of our hosting environment.

This role requires strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work in a rapid-paced hosting environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and production environments.
- Monitor server performance, uptime, backups, and security.
- Troubleshoot server, network, database, and application issues.
- Manage web servers, hosting control panels, DNS, email, FTP, SSH, and SSL.
- Perform server migrations, updates,



patching, and disaster recovery.
- Implement server hardening, firewall configurations, and access controls.
- Automate routine tasks using Bash or Python scripting.
- Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Support incident resolution, performance optimization, and planned maintenance.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and production support.
- Experience with web hosting environments, web servers, and databases.
- Good understanding of networking protocols, DNS, SSH, FTP, SSL, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with virtualization, backup solutions, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with Bash/Python scripting and Linux storage management.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (anyone).
- Experience with virtualization management platforms such as Virtualizor or SolusVM.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in a web hosting, cloud hosting, or managed services environment.
