Role Overview

Support manufacturing and engineering systems through the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications.

Develop and support web, desktop, and integration solutions using Microsoft technologies and ERP-integrated applications.

Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver solutions supporting manufacturing operations, production planning, logistics, and engineering processes.

Build and maintain scalable applications, APIs, and reporting solutions while ensuring alignment with business requirements and technology standards.

Contribute to modernization initiatives leveraging .NET, cloud-native development, containerization, and ERP integrations.

Responsibilities

Application Development

Design, develop, and maintain web-based and Windows-based applications.

Develop solutions using

C#

ASP.NET MVC

ASP.NET Web API

ASP.NET Core

Blazor

WPF

WinForms

Windows Services

Build and maintain user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

API & Integration Development

Design and develop REST APIs and backend services.

Support SOAP and REST-based integrations.

Integrate applications with SAP and other ERP platforms.

Develop and support integrations across SAP SD, PP,



and MM modules.

Database & Reporting

Develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.

Write and optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures.

Develop and support reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Manage data access and application interactions with relational and NoSQL databases, including Cosmos DB.

Manufacturing & Business Process Support

Support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Understand and support

Business logistics processes

Production planning and scheduling

Manufacturing operations

Work with business models including:

Make-to-Stock (MTS)

Make-to-Order (MTO)

Configure-to-Order (CTO)

Engineer-to-Order (ETO)

Engineering & DevOps

Develop applications using .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 8+.

Implement dependency injection and asynchronous programming patterns (Async/Await).

Build and maintain automated tests.

Support Azure DevOps build and release pipelines.

Develop and support containerized applications using Docker.

Quality & Security

Implement security, authentication, and authorization best practices.

Develop and execute unit tests and automated testing frameworks.

Ensure application reliability, maintainability, and performance.
