Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Lead Java Developer role based in Hosur.

The Lead Java

Developer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using modern frameworks and best practices.

Responsibilities include leading the technical design of new features, implementing microservices-based architectures, writing clean and effective code, and ensuring application performance, security, and scalability. The role involves collaborating closely with product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers to translate requirements into robust solutions, conduct code reviews,



and mentor team members.

The Lead Java

Developer will also participate in sprint planning, troubleshoot production issues, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive continuous improvement in development processes and tooling.

Qualifications:

- Strong Full stack software development skills with experience in designing and building scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
- Hands-on expertise in Java and solid programming fundamentals, including object-oriented design and data structures.
- Proficiency with Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, Microservices, REST APIs, React/Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, PostgreSQL/MySQL, AWS, Docker, Git, CI/CD, Kafka/RabbitMQ, JUnit & Mockito
- Practical experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Data) and related Java ecosystems.
- Experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, ORM frameworks, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and modern build tools.
- Understanding of secure coding practices, testing methodologies, and production deployment environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Hosur.
