Role Description

UI Developer Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop modern, responsive, and scalable web applications using React and related frontend technologies.
- Build reusable UI components and establish frontend development standards and best practices.
- Develop and integrate applications with AWS cloud services and backend APIs.
- Design and build interactive applications on the Databricks Apps platform to enable analytics and AI-driven workflows.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, data engineers, and backend developers to deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, security, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate authentication, authorization, and secure API communication using enterprise security standards.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and CI/CD implementation for frontend applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application reliability and maintainability.
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, AWS services, and AI-enabled application development practices.

Required

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in frontend application development.
- Solid expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building Single Page Applications (SPA) using React ecosystem libraries (Redux, React Router, React Query, etc.).
- Experience developing and deploying applications on AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, and Amplify.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.




- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design, accessibility (WCAG), and frontend performance optimization.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with enterprise authentication mechanisms such asOAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML. Good to Have Skills
- Experience building applications using Databricks Apps and integrating with DatabricksLakehouse and Unity Catalog.
- Experience integrating AI/ML services and Generative AI capabilities into frontend applications.
- Knowledge of AWS serverless architectures and event-driven application design.
- Experience with component libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design, or Chakra UI.
- Experience with data visualization libraries such as Plotly, D3.js, Chart.js, or Apache ECharts.
- Experience with Playwright for end-to-end (E2E) UI testing and test automation.
- Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana.
- Experience working in enterprise data and analytics environments using Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-powered user experiences, conversational interfaces, and LLM-based applications.
