Role Description

We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to lead the development, improvement, and management of scalable data systems that support business intelligence, analytics, reporting, automation, and operational decision-making across the organization.

The role is suitable for experienced professionals with backgrounds in data engineering, ETL/ELT, SQL, Python, cloud platforms, data warehousing, analytics engineering, database development, or data infrastructure.

The Lead Data Engineer will work closely with technology, analytics, finance, supply chain, operations, production, marketing, and business teams to design reliable data solutions, improve data quality, and enable efficient access to business-critical information.

Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Tech or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.




- Candidates with 4+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, software engineering, databases, cloud data, or related technology roles are encouraged to apply.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Python or another programming language used for data processing.
- Robust understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data transformation, integration, and data modeling.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar technologies.
- Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud will be preferred.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Airflow, dbt, Kafka, or similar data platforms will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Experience working with data warehouses, data lakes, or cloud-based data platforms will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or other BI and reporting tools will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets and business-critical data systems.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Good communication, documentation, and team-collaboration skills.
- Candidates from technology, SaaS, consulting, manufacturing, FMCG, e-commerce, finance, logistics, telecom, or other data-driven industries are welcome.
- Strong focus on scalability, automation, data quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
