About the RoleWe are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst – Business Analyst with a strong foundation in Finance & Accounting and an interest in building a career at the intersection of Finance, Business Analysis, ERP Systems, Data, and Technology.

This role is ideal for someone who understands core accounting concepts and wants to move beyond traditional accounting into Business Analysis, ERP/Software Implementation, Functional Testing, Data Validation, and Client Support.

You will work closely with finance users, clients, business teams, and technical/development teams to understand requirements, validate financial processes, test system functionality, and support finance-related application solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinance &

• Accounting

- Understand and work with core accounting processes including:
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Customer & • Vendor Ledgers

- Outstanding Reconciliation
- Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)
- Cash Flow
- Understand and validate financial reports including:
- Trial Balance
- Balance Sheet
- Profit & • Loss Statement

- General Ledger
- AR/AP Outstanding Reports
- Understand the accounting impact of transactions, including Debit/Credit effects and Journal Entries.
- Apply basic knowledge of statutory accounting requirements, including GST Input/Output and TDS Payable/Receivable.
- Perform financial and data reconciliation and identify discrepancies between transactions, ledgers, reports, and system outputs.

Business Analysis & • ERP
- Understand business and finance requirements from clients/users and translate them into clear functional requirements.
- Participate in requirement gathering, functional discussions, process understanding, documentation, and solution validation.




- Support the implementation and testing of Finance/Accounting modules within business applications or ERP systems.
- Prepare functional documentation, test scenarios, test cases, and testing results.
- Perform basic manual, functional, and UAT testing of finance-related application features.
- Validate system outputs against business requirements and expected accounting results.
- Coordinate with technical/development teams for issue clarification, testing, and resolution.
- Support data migration activities, including master-data validation, opening balances, and transaction-data verification.
- Assist clients/users in understanding system functionality and resolving finance-related functional queries.

Data & • Analysis
- Perform data validation and analysis to identify discrepancies in financial data and system outputs.
- Use logical and analytical skills to investigate reconciliation and reporting differences.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts for data validation and analysis will be an added advantage.

Qualification & • Experience
- B.Com in Finance / Accounting – Mandatory.
- MBA in Finance or another relevant finance qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounts, Business Analysis, ERP implementation, functional consulting, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting and finance concepts.
- Good understanding of AR, AP, GL, BRS, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and P&L.;
- Basic knowledge of GST and TDS accounting/compliance.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.




- Ability to understand financial data and identify reconciliation or reporting differences.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with clients, finance users, business teams, and technical teams.
