Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support the Accounts and Finance team with day-to-day accounting, billing, payment records, documentation, reconciliation, and inventory-related accounting activities.

The candidate will work closely with the Senior Accountant, Management, Purchase, Stores, Production, Sales, and HR teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Day-to-Day Accounting

- Enter purchase, sales, expense, receipt, and payment transactions.
- Maintain accounting records and ledgers.
- Prepare sales invoices and purchase entries.
- Verify bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Maintain cash and bank transaction records.
- Assist with bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents.

1. Billing & Payments

- Prepare customer invoices as per project requirements.
- Maintain customer payment and outstanding records.
- Prepare vendor payment documentation.
- Track pending bills and payment approvals.
- Maintain accurate customer and vendor transaction records.

1. Purchase & Stores Support

- Verify purchase bills against purchase orders and material receipts.
- Coordinate with the Stores team regarding material receipts and stock records.
- Maintain inventory-related documentation.
- Record material purchases and related expenses.




- Assist in periodic stock reconciliation.

1. Payroll Support

- Collect attendance, leave, overtime, and other salary-related information.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with monthly payroll preparation.
- Maintain employee salary advance and deduction records.

1. Compliance & Documentation

- Assist in preparing documents for GST, TDS, audits, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper accounting files and supporting documents.
- Ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time.

1. Reporting

- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Prepare outstanding, purchase, expense, and payment reports.
- Support the Senior Accountant during month-end closing.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in a production environment.
