About the Role

Elegrow Technology Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced BIM / 3D Modeler to work on utility and industrial-scale infrastructure projects including substations, switchyards, transmission systems, and industrial plants.

The selected candidate will convert engineering designs into coordinated 3D models using Bentley and AutoCAD platforms, ensuring high-quality models for engineering, construction, and client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop 3D models for substations, switchyards, and industrial plant projects.

- Create equipment layouts and structural steel models using MicroStation and Bentley OpenUtilities Substation (OUS).

- Develop piping models using Bentley OpenPlant and AutoCAD Plant 3D.

- Create MEP models using AutoCAD MEP.

- Perform interdisciplinary clash detection and coordinate model updates.

- Generate General Arrangement (GA) drawings and 2D drawings from 3D models.

- Coordinate closely with design engineers and project teams.

- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.

- Maintain model accuracy and revision control throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Civil,



or Mechanical Engineering, or ITI in Draughtsman Trade.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in substation, switchyard, or industrial plant 3D modeling.

- Proficiency in one or more of:
- MicroStation

- Bentley OpenUtilities Substation (OUS)

- Bentley OpenPlant

- AutoCAD Plant 3D

- AutoCAD MEP

- Experience with structural steel, equipment layouts, piping, and cable routing.

- Knowledge of clash detection and model coordination.

- Ability to generate construction drawings from 3D models.

- Portfolio of at least 3 completed industrial or utility projects.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
