Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead with 10-15 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a team leadership role. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, AWS cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and modern DevOps practices. This role involves leading development teams, designing scalable cloud-native applications, driving technical decisions, ensuring application reliability, and collaborating with stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Experience with system design, production support, and AWS best practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor development teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 11+, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and SQS/SNS.
- Drive application architecture, system design, and technical documentation, including flow and component diagrams.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Terraform.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system reliability.
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles to improve scalability, security, and operational excellence.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.




- Support production environments and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Evaluate and adopt recent technologies and frameworks to improve engineering efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of software development experience with a minimum of 3 years of team leadership experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 11+ and/or Python.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and RESTful API development.
- Proven experience with AWS cloud services, including:

- EC2

- Lambda
- S3

- RDS

- DynamoDB

- API Gateway

- CloudWatch

- IAM

- SQS/SNS
- Experience with DevOps and automation tools:

- Docker

- Kubernetes

- GitHub

- Terraform
- Strong database knowledge with MySQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in system design and solution architecture.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, particularly CloudWatch.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience with application production support and incident resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Azure or GCP.
- Knowledge of React.js, Angular, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Kafka.
- SAFe Agile experience.
- IoT or Industrial domain knowledge.
- Shell scripting expertise.
- AWS certifications (Architect, Developer, or Networking).
- Experience with Grafana for monitoring and visualization.
