About The Role The Associate Architect - Java at Quantiphi is a critical technical leadership role responsible for designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise Java applications. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between client requirements and technical execution, ensuring high-quality delivery of software solutions that align with business objectives.
This position involves engaging with clients for project briefings, providing consultation on technical strategies, and overseeing the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure applications.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields, with 7-12 years of professional experience in software development and architecture. Demonstrable expertise in Java application modernization,
including upgrading legacy systems to newer Java LTS versions (Java 17/21/25), is essential.
Candidates must have hands-on experience in developing enterprise-level web applications using J2EE and Spring Boot frameworks, along with proficiency in API integration, cloud architecture, and application security. Familiarity with tools such as Git, Maven, and JFrog is required. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, unit and integration testing, and Agile methodologies is necessary.
Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs, Microservices architecture, and both SQL and NoSQL databases will be highly valued. Knowledge of AWS services, cloud deployment, and automation tools like AWS Transform Custom (ATX) adds significant advantage. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within distributed teams are essential for success in this role.

The candidate will actively research emerging technologies and trends to incorporate innovative solutions into projects. Ensuring APIs are robust, maintainable, and scalable is critical, along with coordinating across different layers of infrastructure.
