About The Role The Associate Architect - Java at Quantiphi is a pivotal role designed for experienced professionals who possess a strong background in enterprise Java applications and modernization initiatives. This position involves engaging directly with clients to understand their technical requirements, providing consultation, and overseeing the implementation of complex software solutions. The role demands a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking to support the design, development, and enhancement of scalable, secure, and high-performance Java applications.

The Associate

Architect will act as a bridge between client expectations and technical execution, ensuring that project deliverables align with quality standards and business objectives. This role also entails mentoring junior team members, staying abreast of emerging technologies, and contributing to the continuous improvement of development practices within the organization.

Qualifications

Quantiphi seeks candidates with a robust technical background and a proven track record in enterprise application development. The ideal candidate should have 7 to 12 years of professional experience, with hands-on expertise in Java application modernization,



including upgrading legacy systems to newer Java LTS versions such as Java 17, 21, or 25. A strong understanding of J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture is essential.

Candidates should possess experience working with REST and SOAP APIs, cloud platforms (particularly AWS), and containerization technologies. Proficiency with tools like Git, Maven, and JFrog is required, along with familiarity with database systems such as SQL and NoSQL. A solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles, API security, and application deployment best practices is crucial.

Additionally, experience in Agile development methodologies, unit and integration testing, and automated code modernization tools like AWS Transform Custom (ATX) will be advantageous. The candidate should also demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities The Associate Architect will be responsible for leading technical engagements with clients, including project briefing, consultation, installation, and project close-out reviews. They will support the design, development, and modernization of enterprise Java applications, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable. The role involves managing customer demands effectively, negotiating technical requirements, and creating comprehensive technical documentation.

Supervising activities among internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery is key. The candidate will evaluate project data for accuracy, set project priorities, and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills. Staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies is essential to continuously improve service standards.





The Associate

Architect will review customer technical demands, assist in selecting optimal methodologies for system maintenance and operation, and ensure that APIs and application architectures adhere to security and performance standards. Conducting research on new trends and integrating innovative solutions into projects will be part of the role.
