Role Description The Information Technology Administrator is a full time, on-site role based at Prince Public School in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the school’s IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, classroom technology, and peripheral devices. Daily activities include providing technical support to staff and students, managing user accounts and system permissions, overseeing data backup and security protocols, and ensuring reliable access to network resources and internet connectivity.

The IT Administrator will handle routine troubleshooting, coordinate hardware and software installations and updates,



and assist in planning and implementing IT improvements aligned with the school’s academic and administrative needs. Collaboration with school leadership and vendors is expected to ensure stable, secure, and efficient technology operations across the campus.

Qualifications

- Strong Information Technology knowledge, with the ability to manage and support school-wide IT systems and services.
- Proficiency in Network Administration and System Administration for local area networks, servers, user accounts, and access control.
- Experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for staff and students.
- Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows), basic cybersecurity practices, and data backup and recovery procedures.
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft) are an advantage.
- Ability to document IT procedures, maintain asset inventories, and communicate technical information in clear, learner-friendly terms.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the capacity to work independently in a school environment while handling multiple priorities.
- Prior experience in an educational institution or similar setting is beneficial.
