Role Description The HVAC Fabrication Detailer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role involves preparing detailed fabrication drawings and shop drawings for HVAC ductwork, piping, and associated components using CAD and BIM tools. The detailer will review design drawings and specifications, coordinate with engineering and project teams, and ensure that fabrication details meet project, safety, and local code requirements.

Daily tasks include updating models, resolving clashes and dimensional issues,



maintaining documentation and version control, and supporting quality checks before fabrication and installation. The role also requires close collaboration with supervisors, vendors, and other disciplines to meet project schedules and standards.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated proficiency in CAD and BIM tools for HVAC (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and ability to produce accurate 2D drafting and 3D modeling for fabrication.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork and piping layouts, fabrication standards, and MEP coordination practices.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and local building codes; experience in clash detection and spatial coordination is preferred.

- Attention to detail with solid skills in documentation, revision control, and quality checking of fabrication drawings and models.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, supervisors, and external partners.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field; prior experience in HVAC detailing or MEP BIM projects is an advantage.
- Comfort with project-based work, meeting deadlines, and adapting to international project standards and workflows.
