Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode for an HVAC Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer. The role involves designing, reviewing, and optimizing HVAC electrical and instrumentation systems for offshore, marine, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications. The engineer will prepare and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, control schematics, and equipment layouts, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate HVAC systems with overall project designs.

Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting installation and commissioning activities, troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues,



and coordinating with vendors for equipment selection and technical documentation. The role also includes preparing reports, maintaining documentation for audits and compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and energy efficiency of HVAC systems.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of HVAC systems design, load calculations, equipment selection, and integration in offshore, marine, or industrial environments.
- Proficiency in electrical engineering principles related to power distribution, control panels, wiring, and protection devices for HVAC systems.
- Experience with instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, PLCs, control loops, and monitoring systems for HVAC applications.
- Ability to read and produce engineering drawings, P&IDs;, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation using relevant CAD or design tools.
- Familiarity with applicable industry standards and codes (such as IEC, ISO, marine classification society rules) and safety regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with HVAC specialization, or a related discipline.
- Experience in offshore, marine, oil & gas, or shipbuilding projects is highly beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Willingness to work in a site-based environment in Kozhikode
