Role Description The Human Resources Manager at Fitoverse is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance.
The Human Resources
Manager will develop and implement HR policies, support workforce planning for projects, and coordinate training and development initiatives for office and site-based team members. Day-to-day tasks include managing HR documentation, maintaining HRIS records, handling perks administration, and supporting leadership with organizational development and culture-building efforts.
The role also involves partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure HR practices align with Fitoverse’s values of safety, quality, and high performance.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
- Experience with HR operations and administration, such as HRIS management, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Knowledge of labor laws, regulatory compliance, and best practices for workplace safety and ethical employment in India.
- Skills in training and development, including designing or coordinating learning programs, career development initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate across diverse teams and sites.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and capability to manage multiple HR priorities in a growing company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR Manager or senior HR generalist, ideally in construction, infrastructure, sports, or a project-based environment.
- Comfort working on-site in Chennai and occasionally visiting project locations as needed.
