Project Management Consultant – Veterinary Hospital Construction

Location: Hitec City, Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-Time

Joining: Immediate

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Management Consultant (PMC) to oversee the finishing, coordination, quality control, and completion of a premium veterinary hospital project in Hitec City, Hyderabad.

The project is currently in the execution/finishing stage. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil, architectural, interior, MEP, façade, external development, and finishing works are completed strictly as per the architect’s drawings, specifications, design intent, approved materials, and quality standards.

The PMC will act as the key coordination point between the Architect, Interior Designer, MEP Consultants, Structural Consultants, Contractors, Vendors, and Management to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Finishing: Ensure all finishing works are executed strictly as per the architect’s drawings, details, specifications, approved samples, and design standards.

Quality of Finishes: Closely monitor flooring, ceilings, wall finishes, painting, glass, partitions, doors, joinery, furniture, sanitary fixtures, lighting, façade, landscaping, and other finishing works.

Civil Works: Supervise pending civil works, corrections, waterproofing, masonry, plastering, flooring, drainage, and related construction activities.

Interior Coordination: Coordinate with architects, interior designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure accurate execution of interior designs and detailing.

MEP Coordination: Coordinate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting, medical equipment requirements, networking, CCTV, access control,



and other building services with architectural finishes.

PEB / Structural Works: Monitor pending works, corrections, finishing, and coordination related to the pre-engineered steel structure and structural elements.

Site Execution: Maintain continuous site supervision and ensure contractors execute works according to approved drawings and specifications.

Snag Identification & Closure: Prepare detailed snag lists, identify workmanship defects and deviations, and follow up with contractors until complete rectification.

Material Approval & Quality: Verify that only architect-approved materials, finishes, brands, colours, specifications, and samples are used at site.

Vendor & Contractor Management: Coordinate contractors and vendors, review manpower deployment, monitor productivity, and resolve execution issues.

Project Planning: Prepare and maintain detailed completion schedules, Gantt charts, priority lists, and dependency plans.

Daily Progress Monitoring: Track actual progress against planned timelines and immediately highlight delays or bottlenecks.

Cost Control: Review quantities, variations, contractor bills, additional works, and procurement requirements while avoiding unnecessary cost escalation.

Documentation: Maintain drawings, approvals, BOQs, material approvals, site instructions, variation records, inspection reports, and completion documentation.





Testing & Commissioning: Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, equipment, and other services before handover.

Government & Statutory Compliance: Coordinate all applicable permissions, inspections, certifications, and compliance requirements necessary for completion and operation of the facility.

Project Handover: Ensure completion of all snagging, documentation, warranties, manuals, certificates, as-built drawings, and final handover requirements.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in construction/project management.

Strong experience in high-quality finishing and interior execution.

Ability to understand and execute architectural drawings, interior drawings, MEP drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

Experience coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, and multiple vendors.

Robust knowledge of construction materials, workmanship standards, and finishing details.

Ability to identify poor workmanship and ensure corrective action without compromising architectural intent.

Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, negotiation, and reporting skills.

Experience in hospital, healthcare, hospitality, premium commercial, or similar high-quality projects will be preferred.

Good communication skills in English, Telugu, and Hindi.

- Must be highly organised, hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of independently driving the project toward completion.

Primary Objective To complete the veterinary hospital on time and within budget, with every element executed according to the architect’s design intent, approved specifications, and expected quality of finishing.
