Role Description The Home Fashion Designer will work full time on-site in Mumbai, collaborating closely with the design and sales teams to develop customized home décor concepts aligned with client preferences and brand standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing collections for curtains, upholstery, blinds, and wallpapers, creating mood boards and design mockups, and selecting fabrics, textures, and finishes. The designer will oversee fittings and sample development, coordinate with production teams to ensure design accuracy,



and refine products based on client feedback.

The role also involves staying current with home fashion trends, sourcing new materials, and contributing to seasonal catalogues and showroom displays.

Qualifications

- Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills for developing cohesive home décor collections.
- Proficiency in Textiles and Embroidery to select and customize fabrics and surface embellishments.
- Practical experience with Fitting and product finishing to ensure high-quality, well-executed designs.
- Relevant education in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Ability to sketch, use design software (e.g., Illustrator, CAD tools), and create professional specification sheets.
- Attention to detail, color and pattern sense, and solid aesthetic judgment for residential interiors.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, dealers, and production teams.
- Previous experience in home décor, furnishings, or interior styling is an advantage.
