We are hiring our first Hardware & Electronics Engineer to lead the development of a compact, connected consumer device.

Responsibilities

- Own electronics design from prototype through production readiness.
- Design and validate PCB, power, battery, charging, storage, USB-C, BLE, and audio subsystems.
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware for device operation, connectivity, and firmware updates.
- Lead hardware bring-up, debugging, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
- Work with industrial design, mobile, and software teams on device integration.
- Evaluate components, reference designs, and manufacturing partners.
- Build BOMs, manage technical documentation, and support cost optimization.
- Establish hardware security and privacy-by-design practices.
- Support certification, compliance, DFM/DVT, and supplier-quality processes.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing consumer electronics, IoT devices, wearables, or audio products.
- Solid experience with PCB design, embedded systems, battery-powered devices, USB-C, BLE, and production hardware bring-up.




- Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, audio components, flash storage, and power-management ICs.
- Familiarity with firmware development in C/C++ and embedded debugging tools.
- Experience working with ODM/OEM partners and taking products through EVT, DVT, and PVT.
- Practical understanding of device security, firmware signing, secure updates, and production debug controls.
- Strong ownership, analytical judgment, and communication skills.

Nice to have
- Experience with portable audio devices, voice recorders, microphones, or hearables.
- Familiarity with India consumer-electronics manufacturing, certification, and supply chains.
- Experience building companion mobile-app integrations.
