Role Overview

We are looking for a creative Graphic Designer to create visually engaging static and motion creatives that elevate Rooter's digital presence. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in graphic design, a good understanding of motion graphics, and the ability to transform ideas into compelling visual stories.

You should be comfortable designing for digital-first platforms, creating social media content, marketing assets, and short-form videos that resonate with our audience. You will conceptualise and execute creative campaigns, ensuring a consistent brand identity across all touchpoints.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, stays updated with evolving design trends, and is excited to experiment with new creative technologies, including AI-powered tools.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Content Creation

- Design high-quality static creatives for social media, websites, app promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
- Create engaging motion graphics, reels, GIFs, and short-form videos for digital platforms.
- Develop creative assets for digital campaigns, product launches, brand initiatives and promotional activities.
- Edit videos by incorporating typography, transitions, sound effects, music and motion elements to create engaging visual content.
- Produce AI-generated creative content and videos for Youtube.

Brand & Visual Consistency

- Ensure all creative assets align with Rooter's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
- Apply strong design fundamentals, including layout, typography, colour, composition,



and branding principles across all creatives.
- Adapt designs into multiple formats and dimensions for different digital platforms.

Collaboration & Project Management

- Work closely with the Marketing and Content teams to understand campaign objectives and deliver impactful creative solutions.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Incorporate feedback effectively to continuously improve creative output.

Innovation & Industry Awareness

- Stay updated with the latest design trends, motion graphics techniques, AI-powered creative tools and digital content formats.
- Bring fresh ideas and creative approaches to enhance audience engagement and brand communication.

Requirements

- 1–2 years of experience in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Video Editing, or a similar creative role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, composition and branding principles. Basic to intermediate motion graphics skills.
- Basic understanding of the gaming ecosystem and current gaming trends.
- Ability to create engaging social media creatives, marketing assets, and short-form video content.



Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to Have

- Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or similar tools.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools for design, image generation, and video creation. Experience working with gaming, entertainment, media, or consumer internet brands.
