Role Description The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) will support plant operations and engineering functions at the Suratgarh on-site location in a full-time capacity.

Responsibilities include assisting senior engineers in monitoring production processes, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. The trainee will help analyze process data, participate in maintenance planning, and contribute to troubleshooting equipment and operational issues. The role also involves preparing technical reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams,



and learning standard operating procedures and best practices in cement manufacturing.

Over time, the GET will be expected to take on increasing responsibility and contribute to efficiency improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in engineering principles, preferably with a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Production Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications, with basic familiarity with industrial automation or process control considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis and problem-solving, including the use of spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools for monitoring and optimizing plant performance.
- Awareness of safety, health, and environmental regulations, with a willingness to follow and promote safe work practices and sustainability initiatives.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Willingness to work in an on-site plant setting in Suratgarh, including rotational shifts if required, and readiness to learn and grow within the cement manufacturing industry.
- Prior internship or project experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, or related sectors is an added advantage.
