About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Back-End Golang Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Go/Golang, REST APIs, microservices, databases, and backend system development.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The role involves working on real-world projects, developing APIs and microservices, optimizing application and database performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend applications using Golang.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks such as Gin, Echo, or Fiber.

Build high-performance backend services with a focus on scalability, reliability, maintainability, and fault tolerance.

Develop and integrate gRPC-based services where required.

Design efficient APIs following REST API design principles and OpenAPI/Swagger standards.

Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and other database technologies.

Write optimized database queries and implement appropriate indexing, caching, and query optimization strategies.

Develop event-driven and asynchronous systems using messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.

Implement appropriate caching strategies using Redis or similar technologies.

Write clean, modular, maintainable, and well-tested Go code following software engineering best practices.

Develop unit and integration tests using Go testing packages, Testify, or similar frameworks.

Containerize applications using Docker and work with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.

Implement application logging, monitoring, metrics,



and alerting to ensure system reliability and performance.

Work with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, production issues, and backend system defects.

Follow secure coding practices, API security standards, authentication, authorization, and data protection principles.

Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture/design discussions.

Contribute to improving development standards, coding practices, tooling, and engineering processes.

Stay updated with the Golang ecosystem, backend technologies, distributed systems, and cloud-native development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

2+ years of professional experience in backend development.

Strong hands-on experience with Golang/Go.

Good experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.

Experience with at least one Go web framework such as Gin, Echo, or Fiber.

Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.

Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.

Working knowledge of Redis and caching mechanisms.

Familiarity with gRPC and service-to-service communication.

Experience with at least one messaging/event-streaming technology such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.

Positive understanding of API design, authentication, authorization, error handling, and API security.

Experience writing unit and integration tests in Go.

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.





Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.

Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Experience with Git and version control systems.

Robust understanding of data structures, algorithms, database concepts, and backend engineering principles.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience working with NoSQL or Graph databases.

Hands-on experience with Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ in production environments.

Experience building high-throughput and low-latency backend services.

Knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, goroutines, channels, and Go memory management.

Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability tools.

Experience deploying applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Understanding of system design and scalability patterns.

Experience with event-driven architecture.

Exposure to performance testing and application profiling.
