Job Title: Software Engineering

Qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Designing service and data layer patterns within a clean architecture (service → repository → resolver)

Leading PostgreSQL schema design, query optimisation, and migration strategy

Designing and maintaining Temporal workflows for complex async processing and cross system data sync

Driving integration patterns with external systems via REST, Kafka/Azure Event Hub, and Azure Service Bus

Setting standards for RBAC authorization and security practices

Owning infrastructure concerns (Kubernetes/Kustomize/FluxCD/Helm) and contributing to platform decisions

Owning and evolving the GraphQL API server (Go / `gqlgen`)

Mentoring engineers, leading code reviews, and raising the bar on test quality and engineering practices

Required Skills Core

5+ years of professional Go experience — idiomatic Go, concurrency patterns, performance tuning

Deep PostgreSQL expertise — schema design, indexing strategy, query optimisation, migrations at scale

Proven experience designing and maintaining GraphQL APIs in production

Hands on with async/event driven architectures — Kafka, service buses, or equivalent

Solid Azure (or equivalent AWS/GCP) experience — managed databases, messaging, secrets management, container registries

Solid Kubernetes knowledge — deployments, config, networking, resource management

Experience with GitOps based delivery (FluxCD, ArgoCD, or similar)

Required Skills Engineering Practices

Able to make and justify architectural decisions, not just implement them

Solid testing culture — unit, integration, and end to end; knows what to test and at what level

Experience working in larger codebases with multiple engineers and long lived production systems

Comfortable working across ambiguity — breaking down complex problems into deliverable increments

Nice to Have Skills Backend

Experience with Temporal (durable workflow engine) — workflow design, failure handling,



versioning

Azure Flexible PostgreSQL (managed PG)

Nice to Have Skills Frontend

TypeScript + React 18 Form heavy UI development

GraphQL client experience

Azure AD / MSAL auth in browser apps
