Global Transformation Architect - Digital Workplace Architecture

This position reports to the director - Digital Workplace. The team governs and maintains the architectural landscape of some of the key enterprise wide IT pillars such as O365, Exchange, Endpoint and Unified Communications. The transformation Architect would have the following core responsibilities.

- A detail-oriented transformation manager who is excited by the chance to help govern and shape technology
- Workplace, End User or Desktop Services and management of these
- Digital Experience Monitoring or similar end-user experience driven functions
- Cloud, Win10, O365 and other Migration-, Release- or Change related projects
- Analyze business objectives and translate into technical (M365) functionality / requirements
- Responsible for management of end-to-end Software license Compliance at organization level for Microsoft
- Define initial scope for the year in terms of SKUs and Volumes required for the year
- Manage & address O365 license requests from business stakeholders like IT managers, developers, procurement teams, for specific software asset management related data
- Work closely with Operations team and in ensuring:
- There is suitable buffer on available Enterprise licenses
- License reclamation activities are happening regularly and as per laid out processes




- Flagging of any sudden spike in the consumption of any subscription license

- Exception Approval:

- To define and handle exception process for
- Non-Standard subscription licenses as well as,
- generic and service accounts as well as policies pertaining to same

- Microsoft Premier contract:

- Work with procurement team Capture the global scope for renewal annually
- Be the SPOC for Enterprise IT proactive and reactive support scope under Microsoft’s Premier contract
- Software Assurance benefits log and maintenance

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required in the role

- 8 Plus years of Software Asset Management (SAM)/ Software License Management
- Experience in collaborating with a wide range of individuals, including global teams, support personnel, contractors/consultants, external vendors, and internal company management.
- Ability to deliver as Individual contributor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal. Proficient in developing, organizing / arranging project information, and presenting to a range of audiences using a variety of mediums. Must have experience presenting and making recommendations to senior management
- Familiarity with contracts and contractual language necessary
- New track certifications such as MCTS, MCPD, or MCITP strongly preferred
