Role Description The Generative AI Engineer will design, build, and optimize models for text, image, and multimodal generation, with a focus on robust, scalable solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include experimenting with state-of-the-art architectures, training and fine-tuning models on proprietary and open datasets, and evaluating model performance using quantitative and qualitative metrics. The role involves collaborating with product, data, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into AI features, deploying models into production systems, and continuously improving reliability, safety, and user experience.

The engineer will also document workflows, contribute to internal best practices, and stay current with new research in generative AI. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi.

Qualifications





- Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning, including experience with neural network architectures and optimization methods.
- Hands-on experience with generative models such as transformers, diffusion models, VAEs, or GANs, and familiarity with LLMs or multimodal systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI (e.g., Python) and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
- Skills in data handling and experimentation, including dataset preparation, feature engineering, training pipelines, and evaluation metrics.
- Experience with software engineering practices such as version control, testing, code review, and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of deploying models to production using APIs, microservices, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and basic MLOps concepts.
- Understanding of AI safety, bias, and responsible AI practices, with an interest in building fair and secure generative systems.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in applied research, published work, or portfolio of generative AI projects is a plus.
