Role Description This remote internship role for a Full Stack Engineer involves contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of web applications that support Digistall’s e-commerce platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and integrating front-end interfaces with back-end services, writing clean and productive code, and collaborating with other team members to implement new features.

The intern will help optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth user experience for rural businesses and customers.



The role also includes participating in code reviews, documenting technical work, and learning best practices in full-stack development within a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

- Front-End Development skills, including experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and modern web UI practices.
- Back-End Web Development skills with the ability to design and implement server-side logic and APIs.
- Software Development and Full-Stack Development skills to work across the entire application stack.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, version control (e.g., Git), and basic database concepts.
- Ability to learn quickly, collaborate effectively in a remote setting, and communicate clearly in English.
- Interest in e-commerce, rural development, or technology for social impact is highly beneficial.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree or formal training in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
