Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Full Stack Developer (MERN) at Emple. In this role, the developer will design, build, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).

Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end interfaces, developing back-end APIs, integrating databases, and ensuring application performance and security. The developer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions, write clean and testable code, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot issues in production environments. The role also involves participating in agile ceremonies, contributing to technical documentation,



and continuously improving the application architecture and development workflows.

Qualifications

- Strong Full-Stack Development skills, including experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, NextJs, Node.js).
- Front-End Development skills, including proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
- Back-End Web Development skills, including building RESTful APIs, working with server-side frameworks, and integrating databases.
- Software Development fundamentals, including version control (Git), testing practices, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Ability to design scalable architectures, work with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar), and implement secure coding practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in remote, cross-functional teams, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- Experience with agile methodologies and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Work load: 20 Hrs per week **Parks and Benefits
