Role Description As a Full Stack AI Engineer at Oro, you will design, build, and maintain end-to-end systems that power video-first discovery, personalized recommendations, and restaurant tooling. You will work on both front-end and back-end components, integrating AI models into production services, developing APIs, and ensuring responsive, high-quality user experiences for diners, restaurants, and creators. Day-to-day, you will collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to translate business and user needs into scalable, secure, and reliable software, iterating quickly based on performance data and feedback.
You will own features from architecture through deployment and monitoring, including data pipelines, model serving, and UI integrations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, India
Qualifications
- Robust experience in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with a track record of shipping production web applications.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including designing APIs, working with databases, and integrating AI/ML services into scalable architectures.
- Proficiency in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), building responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
- Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining AI or machine learning models in production (e.g., recommendation systems, ranking, personalization).
- Solid understanding of modern web technologies and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar, Node.js, Python, or comparable stacks).
- Experience with cloud platforms, containers, and CI/CD tooling to support reliable releases and ongoing observability.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, communicate clearly, and take ownership of end-to-end solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; startup or marketplace experience in dining, hospitality, or consumer apps is a plus.
