PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: For AIP technology absorption, STW & FATs operations of AIP-EM.

AREAS OF EXPOSURE/ WORK BACKGROUND:

- Project Management, Execution & Technical Knowledge about Marine Systems / Chemical Plant operations & trouble shooting.
- Selection, testing and commissioning of various process Plant systems.
- Knowledge of Hydraulics, Thorough understanding of P&ID; diagrams.
- Working experience of Control Systems, etc.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary:

- Absorbing AIP technology as part of TOT from NMRL.
- Getting associated during AIP STW & FATs operations of AIP-EM.

Secondary:

- To understand, innovate and implement ideas for process improvement/plant operation.

- Problem solving during plant operations.

- Thorough understanding of Chemical Engineering fundamentals: Reaction Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics, process & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID;), Equipment (Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Separators).





- Understanding of Line size Calculation, Hydraulic calculation and pump NPSH calculation.

- Knowledge of sensors like temperature, pressure, flow and level, etc.

- Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations.

- Develop broad process engineering competencies to provide future engineering capacity with process group.

- Knowledge of Process Plant Control and understanding of control philosophy.

- Communication & Coordination with customers for project-related activities.

- Co-ordination with design, purchase, QC & shop for project activities.

- Effective interface with Customer, Development Partners & suppliers.

- Hands-on in ERP LN, PLM, MS Project.
