Role Description This is a full-time, on-site junior position based in Mumbai, focused on freight forwarding and CHA documentation. The role involves preparing and verifying export documentation, coordinating with customers, carriers, and customs authorities, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Daily tasks include data entry for shipments, updating shipment status, maintaining records, and supporting senior staff in handling freight forwarding operations.

The team member will assist in booking cargo, preparing documentation for freight transportation, and resolving basic customer queries related to shipment and export processes.



The role requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Forwarding and Forwarding for coordinating shipments and logistics operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Transportation and Export to handle export processes, shipment planning, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess robust Customer Service skills to manage client communication, respond to inquiries, and provide shipment updates.
- Basic knowledge of CHA documentation, customs procedures, and export regulations is preferred.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; familiarity with local languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn logistics or ERP software systems.
- Relevant educational background in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field is beneficial; prior internship or junior experience in freight forwarding or exports is an advantage.
- Applicants should be based in Mumbai or able to work on-site in Mumbai.
