Role Description As a Freelance Video Editor at Daily Diaries, you will edit and assemble video footage for advertising campaigns and event-related content, ensuring consistent visual style and brand alignment. You will work closely with the creative and event teams to interpret briefs, organize raw footage, add transitions, graphics, titles, and audio, and prepare content optimized for various platforms and screens. Typical tasks include color correction, sound syncing, basic audio clean-up, and versioning edits for different formats and durations.

You will manage project timelines, maintain organized file structures, and deliver high-quality edits within agreed deadlines. This is a contract,

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong video editing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Candidates should possess skills in motion graphics, basic animation, and graphic integration (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Canva or equivalent tools).
- Candidates should possess skills in audio editing and sound design fundamentals, including syncing dialogue, balancing levels, and adding music and effects.
