About Pivector Labs

Pivector Labs builds high-precision metrology equipment for the AI era. Our main product is a high-throughput Atomic Force Microscope for semiconductor manufacturing. We also design custom metrology and inspection equipment for manufacturers whose measurement or quality-control problems cannot be solved well with standard machines.

We use AI-enabled engineering workflows to move from customer requirements to machine concepts and detailed designs much faster, combining mechanical, optical, electronics, controls, and machine-vision engineering.

The Role

We are looking for someone smart, proactive, curious, and high-energy to work directly with the founder and help us find recent custom-machine opportunities. Your job is to find companies with difficult inspection or measurement problems, identify the right people, reach out, and start conversations. Examples include factories where inspection is still manual, companies importing expensive inspection equipment, manufacturers whose existing systems are too slow or inaccurate, or companies needing custom 2D/3D inspection, machine vision, metrology, sensors, optics, or precision automation.

What You’ll Do

You will research companies primarily in India, as well as the US and Europe, identify decision-makers in engineering, quality, manufacturing, R&D;, and operations, and reach out through email, LinkedIn, calls, events, and other channels. You will also help identify localization opportunities, OEM and technology partners, distributors, and system-integration opportunities. Once an opportunity becomes technical, the founder and engineering team will join the conversation.

You are not expected to design or technically sell the machine yourself.

Industries

We are particularly interested in semiconductors, electronics, automotive and EVs, aerospace, precision engineering,



medical devices, optics, batteries, robotics, and industrial automation, but we are open to any industry with an interesting inspection problem.

Who Can Apply

Freshers, students, final-year students, career switchers, freelancers, and people returning after a career break are welcome. Full-time, part-time, and internship arrangements are possible.

You do not need an MBA, previous sales experience, or semiconductor knowledge. An engineering background is useful but not required. What matters is that you learn quickly, take initiative, communicate well, are comfortable reaching out to people you do not know, follow up persistently, and can figure things out without waiting for detailed instructions.

If you have built projects, organized events, run a college club, sold something, started a side project, or otherwise shown that you can make things happen, we would like to hear from you.

Work Setup

This is a paid, in-person role in Mumbai. Students can work part-time alongside college. Travel allowance is provided for work-related travel and customer visits. Food is provided at the office. If work or an event occasionally runs late, overnight accommodation at the office is available for convenience and is completely optional.

What Success Looks Like

We care about qualified opportunities, not the number of emails sent. Finding a few companies with real inspection problems and getting us into the right conversations is more valuable than generating thousands of generic leads.

Compensation

₹35,000–₹50,000/month + performance incentives, depending on experience and time commitment. Part-time salary can be prorated according to time commitment.
